JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today said that efforts are being made to create modern facilities for devotees within a stipulated time frame for the pleasant divine experience of the Amarnath Yatra.
LG Sinha made these remarks while chairing a meeting of the newly constituted Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
LG office in a tweet said that today (LG Sinha) chaired the meeting of the newly constituted Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. The board discussed and approved various proposals related to facilities for the devotees to make their pilgrimage hassle-free.
Efforts are being made to create modern facilities like skywalks, a new Durga Bhawan, a spiritual theme park & services such as RFID tags for devotees within a stipulated time frame for the pleasant divine experience, tweet read.
The number of devotees visiting holy shrine from India &abroad is continuously breaking records. New facilities&upgradation works will ensure that pilgrims from world over have access to state-of-the-art amenities,&connect between the local economy&pilgrimage is further strengthened, it added.
