Amarnath pilgrim dies of cardiac arrest in Pahalgam

ANANTNAG: A pilgrim on Amarnath Yatra from Haryana, died of cardiac arrest on Friday while he was on his way to the holy cave shrine from Pahalgam base camp in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.

An official told that Mahaveer Prasad (66) son of Shri Gupta from Karnal Haryana, collapsed while on his way to the cave shrine. He said that he was taken to Panjtarni medical facility, where he was declared dead on arrival due to cardiac arrest—(KNO)
