All Kashmir districts participate in Provincial Level TT Competitions

Srinagar: The District Youth Services & Sports Shopian Friday organised the Provincial Level Inter-District Competitions of Table Tennis for U-14 Boys and Girls, at Bismillah Hotel Shirmal in Shopian district.

In the competition, all the 10 districts of Kashmir participated which included 60 student players comprising 32 Boys and 28 Girls.

The inaugural function was attended by the District Youth Services & Sports Officer Shopian, Syed Noor Ul Haq and other staff of DYSSO.

The competition was declared open by the District Youth Services & Sports Officer Shopian.

He has also highlighted the ill effects of drug abuse and insisted the student players to participate in the sports and remain away from the drug abuse.

He laid emphasis on the role of sports in daily life and insisted the students to participate in the games at all levels.
