Alert sounded after recovery of ‘suspicious object’ on Rajouri highway

Rajouri, Feb 17: A security alert has been sounded after a suspicious object was found lying on the national highway in Manjakote area of Rajouri district on Wednesday morning.

An official told the news agency—that as per the initial information the have found a wooden fruit packing box lying in a drain along side the highway.

He said that the box is having some suspicious object inside with a wiring circuit.

The official said that the teams of police and army are on the spot and verification of the recovered material is going on. More details awaited
