Besides clicking pictures with them, he also danced and paid his respect to them. The actor has also donated Rs 1 crore for building a school in the remote village of Tulail near the LoC. He was present for a wreath laying ceremony as a part of a small function organised by the BSF, which was happily attended by the locals in the area as well. Akshay has lately been known for his patriotic public image which has been strengthened with the choice of the films he’s done in the past few years. His movies lately are based on an issue of national interest and concern and the actor is doing his bit of raising awareness through the medium of cinema.
