Poonch, Nov 20: Army and police rescued passengers who were trapped on Mughal Road after heavy snowfall last night.
Officials told the news agency that snowfall started in Pir Ki Gali and other adjacent areas on Thursday evening following which some passengers travelling on the road got trapped in snow.
They said a joint rescue operation was launched by Army and Police in late hours during which nineteen persons trapped in snow were rescued and brought to Poshana camp of police and Army. They said that the road is now closed for traffic while the snowfall was going on in the area
