Jammu: Advisor to LG of J&K, Rajiv Bhatnagar visited the ongoing camp of NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh at Nagrota on Friday.
Bhatnagar was received by Maj Gen Tejinder Kumar MP, the Additional Director General of NCC Dte Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh, and was presented an impressive NCC Guard of Honour. Later he witnessed an impressive cultural program presented by the cadets.
In his address to the cadets, Bhatnagar complimented the cadets on their high standards of physical and mental fitness as well as their josh and dedication in all the activities.
He acknowledged and complimented the stellar role played by the NCC units of the Directorate in shaping the personality of more than 25000 youth of the region, which has been affected by severe challenges in the past decades.
Bhatnagar was briefed about the peace progress and prosperity in J&K and Ladakh region on an impressive model showcasing various developmental activities and initiatives of the Government.
He also interacted with the Cadets selected for the upcoming NCC Republic Day Camp 2023 at New Delhi. The cadets were visibly thrilled with the visit and resolved to continue their training with renewed vigour and josh.
