Additional 80,000 vials of Amphotericin-B drug allocated to States, Central Institutions: DV Sadananda Gowda

Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers  DV Sadananda Gowda has  announced that the additional 80 thousand vials of Amphotericin-B drug were allocated to all the States and Central Institutions today.

The drug is used in the treatment of  Mucormycosis. Of the total allocation, 18 thousand 140 vials have been allocated to Maharashtra, 17 thousand 330 vials to Gujarat, 6 thousand 150 vials to Madhya Pradesh, 4 thousand 450 vials to Andhra Pradesh and one thousand 920 vials to Delhi. Yesterday  29 thousand 250 vials of Amphotericin- B drug were allocated  to the States and Union Territories.
