6 Apni Party Councillors joins BJP in Baramulla in presence of Union Minster Jitendra Singh

BARAMULLA: Several Apni Party Councillors today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that the six councillors joined BJP in the presence of Union Minister of State (Independent charge) Science and Technology, minister of state (Independent charge) Earth sciences; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh.

The joining function was held at Dak Banglow Baramulla, besides Union Home Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, senior BJP leader Anwar Khan was present on the occasion.

Among the joining councillors included Mudasir Ahmad Tantary, Fareeda Begum, Jasbir Kaur, Gurdeep Singh Bali, Ghulam Rasool Malik and Ashiq Hussain Ganai. Meanwhile, sources said that more people are likely to join BJP. (Agencies)
