4 Rohingyas sent to Holding Centre

Four Rohingyas including two male and two females were arrested at Lakhanpur yesterday when they were on their way to Kashmir after traveling from Myanmar via Bangladesh, Assam and New Delhi.

JAMMU: Police today sent four Rohingyas arrested yesterday at Lakhanpur to Holding Centre at Hiranagar where 190 Myanmar nationals have already been lodged.

Four Rohingyas including two male and two females were arrested at Lakhanpur yesterday when they were on their way to Kashmir after traveling from Myanmar via Bangladesh, Assam and New Delhi.

After COVID and medical fitness tests in Lakhanpur, all four Rohingyas were lodged in Holding Centre at Hiranagar.

A case has also been registered against them.
