4 residential houses gutted in Bandipora fire

Srinagar, Nov 24: Four residential houses were damaged in a fire incident in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said here on Tuesday.

They said fire broke out in a residential house in main town in Bandipora late on Monday evening. “Fire tenders were rushed to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance,” they said.

They said before the fire was brought under control, it spread to nearby houses. “Four residential houses were damaged in the mishap,” they said, adding no one was injured in the incident.

They said the cause of the fire was not immediately known, adding a case has been registered and investigation has been taken up to ascertain the cause of the mishap.
