32 travelers, 5 soldiers among 572 new covid-19 cases in J&K

Srinagar, Nov 17:  Thirty-two travelers and five soldiers were among 572 fresh novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total tally to 103581.

Among the fresh cases, 191 were confirmed from Jammu and 381 from Kashmir Valley, officials told GNS.

They said Srinagar reported 147, Baramulla 35, Budgam 25, Pulwama 17, Kupwara 106, Anantnag 6,

Bandipora 10, Ganderbal 30, Kulgam 4, Shopian 1, Jammu 95, Rajouri 6, Udhampur 28, Doda 15, Kathua 12, Poonch 3, Samba 10, Kishtwar 13, Ramban 1 and Reasi 8.

A number of these cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura and CD hospitals diagnostic laboratories.

SKIMS cases

The BSF cases include male (55) from Ch BSF Humhama Srinagar.

The CRPF cases include male (53) from 115 Qc Alusteng Srinagar.

The Bandipora cases include female (55) from Sumbal Bandipora.

The Budgam cases include two males (12, 55) and female (25) from Wangwas, female (32) from Thuzwooder, male (54) from Nowbug Chadoora, female (36) from Sarie Chadoora, female (30) from Hanjigund Chadoora, male (75) from Gowharpora Chadoora, male (35) from Hissipora Chadoora, two males (55, 20) from Sarband, male (24) from Rehman Mohalla Mochoowa, male (42) from Kralpora, female (45) from Daram Bugh Kralpora, male (42) from Kanlibagh, female (35) from B K Pora Near Petrol Pump, male (08) from Near Petrol Pump Kanipora, two females (40, 03) from Govt Housing Colony Baghi Mehtab, male (39) from 269 Engineering Regiment, female (80) from Magam, female (49) from Kanipora, male (75) from Margallary Budgam.

The Srinagar cases include male (25) from Peerbagh, male (25) from HMT, male (46) from 13 Chinar, female (60) from Ahmad, male (19) from Ellahibagh, male (35) from Hawal, male (24) from Bemina, male (30) from Rawalpora, female (50) from Dalgate, male (27) from Lal Bazar, male (55) from Alamgiri Bazar, female (62) from Ahmad Nagar, female (10) from Zakoora, male (38) from Khawaja Bazar, male (29) from Buchpora, male (35) from Lal Bazar, male (59) from Naseem Bagh, female (28) from Safakadal, male (35) from Shalimar, female (75) from Bemina, female (65) from Safakadal Srinagar.

The Anantnag cases include male (50) from Bijbehara, male (27) from Salar Anantnag.

The Ganderbal cases include male (65) from Duderhama, male (88) from Gadoora, male (39) from Syedpora, male (22) from Arch, two females (65, 23) and two males (38, 26) from Dangerpora, male (70) from Kurhama, male (70) from Wanipora, male (60) from Saloora, female (30) from Syedpora, two males (55, 22) from Pandach, male (27) from Akhal, male (23) from Watlar, male (33) from Nunar, female (22) from Chenar, female (54) from Kangan, male (75) from Manigam Ganderbal, female (NA) from Kangan Ganderbal.

The Shopian cases include male (25) from Mohand Pora Shopian.

The Kishtwar cases include male (40) from Janaspur Kishtwar.

Moreover, they said,  568 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospital— 216 from Jammu Division and 352 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
