BARAMULLA: Continuing war against drugs, 3 drug peddlers have arrested along with Charas and cash in Baramulla district, police said.
Police under the supervision of *Sh Imtiyaz Ahmad-JKPS, SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr Waseem Akram, IC PP Babareshi* arrested Drug Peddler namely Mohd Ashraf Malla S/O Gh Qadir R/O Dodbugh* during naka checking at Shranz Crossing Tangmarg who was coming towards Shranz Crossing Tangmarg and upon seeing the patrolling party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During his personal search 50 grams of contraband Charas like substance alongwith cash INR 23700/-* was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately. Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigations set in motion.
Police under the supervision of Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan assisted by *PSI Aeraf Niyaz, IC PP Palhallan arrested Drug Peddler namely Mohd Yaqoob Dar S/O Ghulam Rasool Dar R/O Renji Pattan during naka checking at Hamrey Pattan who was coming from Renji towards Hamrey and upon seeing the naka party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During his personal search 96 Tablets of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus & 10 Syrups of Codeine Phosphate* was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately. Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Pattan and investigations set in motion.
Police under the supervision of Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri* assisted by *DySP Prob. Kubra Nazir, SHO PS Boniyar arrested Drug Peddler namely *Mohd Amin Sheikh S/O Ghulam Mohd Sheikh R/O Ijara Boniyar during naka checking near *Ijara Crossing Bridge Boniyar* who was coming towards Boniyar and upon seeing the naka party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During their personal search 90 grams of contraband Charas, 800 grams of dry cannabis leaves like substance alongwith cash INR 41355/-* was recovered from him and was taken into custody immediately. Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Boniyar* and investigations set in motion.
