SRINAGAR: The authorities in Kashmir Friday said that 28 tourists were caught with fake Gondola tickets.

A senior official affiliated with Gondola in Gulmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district said today we received a report that 28 tourists from Mumbai have been caught with fake Gondola tickets.

He said it was carefully checked and after it was found fake, answers were sought from tourists who said that they were given these fake tickets by their tour operator in Mumbai.

We havs registered a case and investigation has begun. Let me tall you that people are expected to be arrested in this regard, he said.

It is pertinent to mention here that police have earlier this week arrested a man for selling fake Gondola tickets.
