25 injured in Uri road accident

Around 25 people were injured in a road accident at Uri in district Baramulla on Tuesday morning, police said.

A police official said that at around 9.15 am an SRTC bus coming from Gwalta to Uri market met an accident near TRC Salamabad on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway.

“As per the initial reports 25 people received injured, out of which 7 were shifted to District

Hospital Baramulla for advanced treatment,” said a police official.
He said that the bus turned turtle most probably due to slippery road.
