SHOPIAN: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today visited Keller area of the district in order to take firsthand appraisal of issues concerning the people.
During the Public outreach visit,he interacted with people and listened to their issues and also inspected Sub District Hospital (SDH) Keller and Tehsil Office Keller. He took stock of the functioning of the hospital and other govt.offices located at the tehsil headquarter,Keller.
During his visit to SDH Keller, DC visited various wards including Jan Aushadi Centre and asked the people to prefer medicines kept available at the centre, at lowest reasonable rates.
He also interacted with the patients, enquired about their health and sought feedback on health facilities being provided to the patients there. He directed the concerned health functionaries to provide better healthcare facilities to the patients.
DC also interacted with staff of Tehsil office, SDH and exhorted upon all to ensure the best possible implementation of public welfare services for the public benefit.
During the visit, Deputy commissioner also met locals and PRIs of the area who apprised him of various public welfare issues concerning them. The DC assured best possible resolution of the issues flagged by them as per norms and on priority.
Joint Director Planning, Khurshid Ahmad Khatana,Tehsildars Keller, Shakil Ahmad and other officers and officials accompanied the DC during the visit.
