1930s. From Tara Devi to Maharani Tara Devi

Despite not being from royal lineage, Tara Devi acclimatised pretty well to the royal ways of living after her marriage with Maharaja Hari Singh in the year 1928. Maharani was simple, soft and loving, but was known for smashing the social evils. She would conduct self-defence training for girls, and contributed to Maharaja’s endeavour against the casteism in her own ways.
