Srinagar, Jan 23: Fourteen travellers were among 94 new novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

They said, 29 of these cases were reported from Jammu Division and 65 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 123946. Eleven among the 20 districts in J&K recorded no fresh cases, the officials told.

Giving district-wise, they said that Srinagar reported 38 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 6, Pulwama 0, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 8, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 1, Shopian 3, Jammu 29, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.

Moreover, they said, 88 more covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 23 from Jammu Division and 65 from Kashmir Valley. So far, 120914 cases have recovered so far— 50268 in Jammu and 70646 Kashmir—while 1929 people succumbed to the virus in J&K. There are 1103 active cases— 403 in Jammu and 700 in Kashmir.
