Reviews achievements under Power Sector

RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 14:  District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal took a detailed review of the achievements recorded in the power sector under the District Capex, Seema Samridhi Yojana and Border Area Development Programme (BADP).

 At the outset, the meeting was informed that under Seema Smaridhi Yojana out of 09 projects work on 08 have been completed. Similarly, under District Capex out of 131 projects, work on 121 has been completed in all respects. The meeting was further briefed that these projects mostly pertain to Installation, augmentation and LT Network.

During the review, the DDC directed the officials concerned to expedite the pace and ensure the completion of works of the power sector within the stipulated time to benefit the people of Rajouri.

 The review of the power sector by the District Development Commissioner marked as a significant step towards the completion of the power projects. The directives issued by DDC to expedite the completion of works are expected to benefit the people of Rajouri in the long run.
