Illegal hotmix plant, farm house, shops demolished

BARI BRAHMANA, AUGUST 22: Tightening the noose around encroachers, District Magistrate Samba, Rohit Khajuria today carried out an anti encroachment drive and retrieved around 100 Kanal  land, here at village Birpur, Bari Brahmana.

The Deputy Commissioner leading a team comprising Senior Superintended of police Shakti Pathak and other officers   reached the encroachment site and pressed in a JCB   to dismantle a Hot mix plant, a farm house, shops and other constructed buildings & walls.

Giving details, the DC said that on the basis of complaint filed to his office about the reports of forceful land grabbing instances in the Birpur area, a detailed verification was conducted and it was found that a hotmix plant, a farm house and shops have been constructed over state land few years back at the behest of an Ex. Minister. “Showing zero tolerance towards the land grabbing  in the district, district administration carried out the anti-encroachment dive and retrieved around 100 Kanal  land   with khasra no. 1099 and 1110” added the DC samba.

The locals of the area hailed the action of district administration for providing justice to the poor people.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitender Mishra, Tehsildar, Bari Brahmana, Qaiser Malik; SDPO Bari Brahmana, Sunil Kesar, SHO Arjun Singh and other officials of revenue and police were also present during the demolition drive.
