10 States, UTs account for over 78% of total active Covid cases: Health Ministry

The Health Ministry has said that ten States and Union Territories account for over 78 per cent of total active Covid cases in the country.

In a tweet, the Ministry said, Maharashtra has the highest number of active Covid cases with over 21 per cent followed by Kerala with 16 per cent, Delhi 7.8 per cent, West Bengal 6.87 per cent and Karnataka 6.76 per cent.

The active cases in the country is less than 6 lakh for the last seven consecutive days and stand presently at around five lakh 27 thousand. The active cases are now only 6.31 per cent of the total positive cases of the country.
